Drummer, Producer, and Visual Artist from Salt Lake City, Utah. Receiving his bachelor degree from Berklee School of Music in 2020, majoring in Electronic Production & Design. With a background in contemporary music performance and jazz studies, Chris has mixed, produced, and played on records in a variety of styles.
Since the age of 10, Shemwell has been performing all around the U.S. with groups such as the School of Rock All-Stars, Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse, and Berklee School of Music. With these groups, he was given the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall, Lollapalooza music festival, House of Blues, and many more.
After graduating Corner Canyon High School, Shemwell attended Snow College as a jazz performance major. At Snow, he formed the jazz/funk quartet Osis. The band took their debut album, Evolution to Solarium Studios and allowed Shemwell to produce and mix the album.
After two years at Snow College, Shemwell transferred to the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. At Berklee, his interests expanded from jazz studies into electronic production and visual art. He currently resides at Berklee and will graduate in the Spring of 2020 as an Electronic Production & Design major.
